1 can red beans
celery finely chopped
1/2 cup sweet corn
6 tablespoons rolled oats
3 tablespoons bread crumbs
2-3 seasoning peppers finely chopped
all purpose seasoning
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
all purpose flour
Empty the can of red beans into a mixing bowl. Use a potato masher to mash the red beans. Add the rolled, oats, sweet corn, celery and mix together.
Add the other ingredients and mix together. Put a bit of the all purpose flour into the palm of your hand and place about 2 tablespoons of the mixture into the palm of your hand and form into a circular shape. Place onto a plate and set aside. Continue this process until all mixture has been used up.
Place the plate with the patties into the fridge for a few minutes. After that time has passed, remove from the fridge and keep at room temperature for another few minutes.
Place a frying pan on the stove and add some oil. Allow the frying pan and oil to hot. Gently place the patties into hot oil and allow them to get golden brown on each side.
