How To Make Ponche De Creme

Ponche de Creme is a popular alcoholic milk based beverage in Trinidad and Tobago and the other Caribbean Islands.  It reminds me of my favorite milk based drink Baileys.

Ingredients

1 can evaporated
1/2 cup condensed milk
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
lime peel
Angostura bitters
2 cups white rum

Method
In a measuring bowl, add the eggs, about 4 drops of the Angostura bitters, lime peel (the lime peel is to eliminate the fresh scent of the eggs) and a few splashes of the nutmeg.  Blend together with a hand mixer.

Add evaporated, condensed milk, rum and blend together.  Remove lime peel and transfer to storage bottles.  Refrigerate.

  1. Hey, honestly your site is coming along :-), but I had a question – it’s a bit slow. Have you thought about using a different host like propel? It’d help your visitors stick around longer = more profit long term anyway. There’s a decent review on it by this guy who uses gtmetrix to test different hosting providers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6s0ciJI4W4 and the whole video has a bunch of gold in it, worth checking out.
