How To Make Cassava Fries

Hey hey hey folks, in this blog post, I share a recipe for cassava fries.  I love cassava so I am always interested in any recipe that includes cassava aka yuca.


Ingredients
1 cassava aka yuca root

Method
Cut off the top and end of the cassava root aka yuca.  Cut the cassava into three pieces and proceed to peel the cassava.  Cut each section into half and put into a pot with water.  Put the pot the stove and allow the cassava to boil and cook.  

When the cassava are cooked, allow them to cool, cut into smaller pieces, not too thin though otherwise they will break up.  

Put a frying pan on the stove, add some oil and allow the oil to get hot.  Put the pieces of cassava to fry and get golden brown.  Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towel.

You can serve this with some garlic sauce.  Super delicious!!
