Getting Some Sno Cone aka Shaved Ice In Trinidad And Tobago With Condensed Milk

In Trinidad and Tobago we called this sweet delight Shaved Ice, Sno Cone.  I think other places call it that too.  At the sno cone vendors, shaved ice is put into a styrotex cup or a triangular shaped paper cup and shaped into a round shape at the top. Different flavors of syrup are poured over the shaved ice.

For an extra sweet treat, condensed milk is poured on the top (this is optional).  For me I leave out the condensed milk – too much sweetness.  The vendor will stick a straw into the ice and present you with your sno cone.

Sno cones are very popular in the summer and around carnival time in Trinidad and Tobago
