I am from the Caribbean Islands Trinidad and Tobago and I live in the British Virgin Islands. In this blog post I share with you five reasons why I love living in the British Virgin Islands.
Reason #1. The first reason is the beautiful turquoise color of the beaches. After being the territory for so many years, I am still amazed at how beautiful and clean the beaches are. Another thing, I don’t have to travel very far to get to a good beach. I live on the eastern part of Tortola and it takes me about 4 minutes to drive to a beach on Beef Island.
Reason #2: It’s a tradition to greet anyone we pass by whether we know them or not. I have since come to adapt to this tradition. When my daughter first came to the territory, it was totally strange to her. She thought I knew everyone I greeted and was surprised to know that I didn’t.

Reason #3: I feel is safe. Normally I would get up very early in the morning about 4:30am and go for my walking exercise. I feel very safe doing so. Also, people do alot of hitch hiking and it is safe.
Reason #4: There is not much traffic. It takes me about 10 minutes to drive from East End To Road Town (the capital), Tortola
Reason #5: I appreciate my accent more. Since I have been here, when I speak, people approach me and ask me if I am from Trinidad And Tobago. I don’t hide my accent any more but on occasions when I am at the office, I speak in a manner that my customers can understand me. I have also learned the accents of different Caribbean Islands, like Jamaica, Guyana (not a Caribbean island), St. Vincent and others.
I have been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It抯 pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
